Who We Are
Dr McSherry is a Specialist in Orthodontics, a member of the Orthodontic Society of Ireland and is registered on the Dental Council. He graduated in 1985 from Dublin Dental School, Trinity College. He then went on to specialise in Childrens Dentistry and graduated from London University with a Masters in Childrens Dentistry in 1989. He continued on his studies and completed his Orthodontic training in 1993 from Dublin Dental School, TCD.
After a period of working in Dublin he then went on to complete further 3 years training as a Consultant in Orthodontics from Queens University Belfast. He is a Past President of the Orthodontic Society of Ireland, Chairman of the Irish Consultant Orthodontic Group and Chairman of the Orthodontic Advisory Group.
He lives in Blackrock with his wife and four children. A keen rugby supporter and a would-be golfer.
The treatment my daughter received at Blackrock Orthodontics is excellent. She was very apprehensive about needing braces, however, after her initial consultation with Pat where he put her mind at ease, she commenced her treatment and the whole experience has been hassle free and convenient. The appointments are always made for a time which suits. Both myself and more importantly, my daughter are very pleased with the treatment received at Blackrock Orthodontics and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in need of orthodontic treatment.
